When the German Oceanographic Museum Foundation (Ozeaneum) merged with three other organizations and opened a new facility in 2008, it became the largest natural science attraction on Germany’s North and Baltic coasts. With the help of Alcatel-Lucent, the four facilities are able to operate as a single entity. Alcatel-Lucent’s OmniPCX Office transformed the Ozeaneum’s communications infrastructure, providing employees with efficient, cost-effective voice and data communications across multiple sites.
