The Royal Danish Theater, Denmark’s national performing arts institution, has seen a resurgence of interest in its activities, thanks in part to new venues like the Copenhagen Opera House and Royal Playhouse. With new stages, a new production facility and increased visitor numbers, however, the country’s highest-profile cultural institution also found itself needing to upgrade its digital infrastructure.
Alcatel-Lucent and its partner, i2i, worked behind the scenes to deploy a single, integrated IP-based system that could deliver VoIP voice and data services over the Theatre’s existing network and connect its four sites, flexibly and economically.
