Intercoil, a Dubai-based global manufacturer, distributor and retailer of high quality orthopaedic mattresses, recently chose Burak Systems to implement an Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise data network solution that enables the company to provide a better employee and customer experience with greater network capacity and performance.
Intercoil has two state-of-the art manufacturing facilities in the United Arab Emerates (UAE) with over 500 employees accessing the network at the same time. Intercoil recognized the need to increase its networking capabilities to allow employees’ speedier access to its enterprise applications. Burak integrated the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise solution with the existing infrastructure made up of a variety of network products, to achieve a highly scalable network that can grow as the business scales new heights.
Designed to offer an enhanced experience, the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise solution, comprising of the Alcatel-Lucent OmniSwitch® portfolio, met all of Intercoil’s rigorous configuration requirements, from having a strong business case with its low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) to the unique set of features of the portfolio, such as a single operating system across all networking products and easy software-based upgrades. Additionally, the new network infrastructure’s low carbon footprint and low power consumption profile will reduce Intercoil’s operational expenditure.
