Alcatel-Lucent has been placed as a “Leader” in Gartner “Magic Quadrant for Corporate Telephony” for sixth consecutive year

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise today announced it has been placed as a “Leader” in the Gartner. Inc. “Magic Quadrant for Corporate Telephony” published September 30, 2013 authored by Jay Lassman, Steve Blood, and Geoff Johnson. The annual report’s evaluation is based on “Ability to Execute” and “Completeness of Vision.”

The report indicates the “Leader” quadrant being those companies that demonstrate a clear vision of how the market needs will evolve while demonstrating a proven track record for delivering these solutions.

For the sixth consecutive year, Alcatel-Lucent has been placed as a Leader in the global report.

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise feels it has retained its position in the Leader quadrant by delivering solutions such as OpenTouch and products such as OmniPCX Enterprise to market with a competitive total cost of ownership (TCO) value, wide range of features and options, and management tools to simplify the use of the systems. Alcatel-Lucent’s telephony-based solutions provide enterprises flexible architecture and business models that deliver a clear migration path to next-generation Unified Communications with OpenTouch.
