Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise has signed a distribution agreement with ITAS AG, the recently formed telecommunications and IT networking specialist. ITAS AG will integrate Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise's technically flexible solutions and advanced networking technology as an integral part of its ICT infrastructure offering to system integrators and resellers in Germany. The companies plan to work together to build new sales channels and win new partners by creating value for resellers and end users.

ITAS is an owner-managed company located in Neukirchen/Erzgebirge that was recently founded by Rolf Mittag and Mirko Eisele to support regional partners, as well as system integrators and resellers throughout Germany. The new company focuses on delivering enterprise solutions aimed mainly at medium-sized companies and offers an extensive service portfolio covering the whole spectrum from planning support to workshops and training. 

The company’s decision to market technology from Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, which forms the clear focus of its portfolio, was based on several reasons: The founders of ITAS have worked with the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise portfolio for many years and have long-term experience of the quality of these products, together with the fact that Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise is a very successful vendor in the German Unified Communications market.
