Alcatel-Lucent Network on Demand aligns network infrastructure costs with usage enabling companies to improve business results
ALE Benelux, operating under the brand Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, has reported strong sales and revenue growth in 2015 - the company's first full year operating as an independent business following its spin-off in October 2014 from Alcatel-Lucent, now known as Nokia.
The company reported an eight percent increase in top-line revenue growth across the entire Benelux (Belgium, The Netherlands, and Luxembourg) region with strong contributions from both its communications (6%) and data network (8%) portfolios. Increased sales and the strengthening ties with its business and technology partners in the region led to growth in the company's key domains of voice, unified communications, enterprise networks, and managed services.
Belgium saw the largest increase, as SMB voice and unified communications solutions grew by 42% (during the year 2015, one partner signed on average four new customers a day) and a 26% jump in revenue from its Belgian data network business, driven by high demand for advanced wireless technology, as businesses look to fully integrate mobile devices and mobile workers into corporate networks.
Voice and Unified Communication solutions targeting the mid-to-large enterprise also performed well, with a 53% revenue increase in Luxembourg as a result of several large customer wins and steady growth in the Netherlands. The Netherlands also recorded continued growth in LAN and WLAN networks with a 12% rise - as new and existing customers upgraded their legacy IT networks. The data networks business saw strong performances in key vertical markets such as healthcare, hospitality, and transportation.

Nine ALE Benelux partners boasted double-digit growth in 2015. These partners were recognized at the recent Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Business Partner Awards covering the Benelux, United Kingdom, Ireland, Nordics and Eastern Europe sales region by receiving four of the seven awards presented across the region.
