Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise today announced it has been placed as a “Leader” in the Gartner, Inc. “Magic Quadrant for Corporate Telephony” published October 21, 2014 authored by Sorell Slaymaker and Steve Blood. The annual report reviews corporate technology vendors worldwide that design, manufacture and distribute on-premises corporate telephony solutions for 1,000 or more users, with its evaluating those vendors based on “Ability to Execute” and “Completeness of Vision.”
According to the report, “Leaders are high-viability vendors with broad portfolios, significant market shares, broad geographic coverage, a clear vision of how telephony needs will evolve and a proven track record for delivering telephony solutions. They are well-positioned with their current product portfolio and likely to continue delivering leading products. Leaders do not necessarily offer a best-of-breed solution for every customer requirement. However, overall, their products are strong and often have some exceptional capabilities. These vendors provide solutions that present relatively low risk for enterprise use.”
For the eighth consecutive year, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise has been placed as a “Leader” in the global report.
Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise’s telephony-based solutions provide enterprises flexible architecture for on-premises-based perpetual license or in a scalable, hosted and cloud-based utility model from selected service providers and channel partners.
