In Q4 of 2013, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise continued to gain market share worldwide in managed LAN, data center switching, wireless LAN, telephony and IP telephony.
According to four leading analyst firms – Crehan Research, Infonetics, Dell’Oro and MZA – Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise continued to gain market share in Q4 of 2013 in managed LAN, data center switching, wireless LAN, telephony and IP telephony.

For the overall Managed LAN market, there was double-digit growth in Central and Latin America (CALA) as well as Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions where there is a declining market.
Also contributing to the overall market share increase was the North America market share that grew twice as fast as the overall market.
According to Crehan Research, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise was the fastest-growing data center switching vendor for 2013, reporting growth nearly six times faster than the market.
ALUE wireless LAN interactive/outdoor access points and controller revenues grew at nearly five times the market rate in APAC and over three times the market rate in EMEA. Important to the growth was the access point portion of the portfolio as customers transitioned from a traditional controller-based model to the new distributed architectures.

After a busy and challenging economic environment, ALUE continued its momentum with top rankings in Dell’Oro and MZA’s recent reports on Q4 2013.
In Dell’Oro’s report, we gained the number one position in EMEA with 16.6 percent share of line shipments. This success was confirmed by MZA who identified our success in EMEA as being spurred by our momentum in IP Telephony where we had a sales growth of 24 percent in a declining market.
Dell’Oro also reported that we outperformed the competition in sales across all regions in the communications market and telephony in particular. We gained market share worldwide where other major vendors had no growth or declined.
